Good thing I did, too, as I ended up having several emergencies that finally used it up.<br /><br />If I had just thrown a big party or bought myself a huge plasma TV and a few other things immediately, I would over the years have received several times what I had saved in extra benefits.<br />Saving a few thousand bucks COST me many, many more thousands of dollars... but it seemed like (and I still think it was) the "responsible" thing to do.<br /><br />Even the people at the various social services offices agreed that I was doing the right thing and being penalized for it.Jafafa Hotshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18118393055149305460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2196784504174257320.post-38100509051972826912011-03-18T21:41:28.768-07:002011-03-18T21:41:28.768-07:00I really like that analogy.
